T-Shirts are $20 each and 100% of the profit will be donated to The Breast Cancer 3-Day benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Designs are screen printed on Gildan 50/50 cotton/poly t-shirts. The t-shirts run slightly smaller than 100% cotton shirts, but do not shrink. T-shirts are availablein adult sizes S-XXXL and youth sizes s, m and l.

The Mississippi Melons to Participate in Breast Cancer 3-Day Ceremonies

Seven of the 18 Mississippi Melons will be participating in the opening and closing ceremonies at the Breast cancer 3-Day in San Francisco on October 2-4, 2009. This is truly a huge honor for The Melons. Five team members, Marianne Parsons, Kendra Simpson, Holly Smith, Kathleen Young and Tiffany Street will be carrying flags into the ceremonies. Bobbie Baker and Paula Gartrell, both breast cancer survivors, will help complete the Survivors Circle.

The Mississippi Melons are hosting their 2nd Annual Mississippi Melons Golf Tournament. The tournament will take place at The Oaks Golf Club in Pass Christian on Monday, September 14, 2009. The Mississippi Melons are registered with the MS Secretary of State as a charitable organization and all proceeds from the tournament will go to the Breast Cancer 3-Day benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
The Mississippi Melons are a team of 18 energetic and determined women, participating annually in a Breast Cancer 3-Day event. Each team member must raise $2300 to participate and walk 60 miles over the course of 3 days, sleeping in a tent each night. As a team, we raise will raise over $41,400 in our fight against breast cancer.
